Ramon - That's a better question for our forum. However, the gist is: 1) assign your DVR a static IP on your LAN, 2) Log onto your Linksys router, and set up either port forwarding or DMZ hosting to point to the IP address of your DVR. 3) If your ISP blocks port 80, then you will need to configure your DVR to transmit using another port #. 4) If you want a tech to securely remote into your network and configure your router for you, then go to www.TechString.com. 5) Now simply use your client software of IE, point it to your external IP address, and you should be able to view your cameras. 6) If you do not know your external IP address, then visit www.whatismyip.com at your DVR site to learn what it is. HINT - you will NEVER use an IP address starting with 192.168 to view your cameras REMIOTELY via the Internet.
