One of the newest additions to the aboutcctv staff, Tom Connor works as a Commercial Surveillance Solutions Architech with CCTV Wholesalers, assisting residential, commercial, and governmental entities with their security needs while at the same time keeping other departments in the company abreast of new problems and trends brought to us by our customers. With broad experience in sales, project management and customer service, Tom is a proven asset on the CCTV Wholesalers team.

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Tom graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Anthropology with a minor in Economics. His fresh perspective on surveillance technology combines a solid academic background coupled with real world know-how from his diverse work experience as a framing carpenter, a telemarketer, a DJ, and a freelance columnist, to name a few. With intimate knowledge of the inner workings of a broad range of industries and a natural aptitude for learning new things, Tom quickly took to surveillance with a passion for helping people protect their families, businesses and possessions.

Outside of work, Tom has a similarly broad range of interests and is a musician and composer, a budding cook, and an avid runner. His writing has appeared in a variety of paper and online mediums and he has been a featured writer for The Fremont Argus, The Vox, gogoray.com, and others. Tom currently lives in New Orleans, a city he commonly describes as, "like the Bay Area, but smaller, and less expensive."
