How can I hard wire (without a network or IP) access to a DVR located 200 ft. from the monitor and myself ? Enter code here Please note, although no boardcode and smiley buttons are shown, they are still useable

For that application you'll need to use CAT5 cable and a component called a video balun, which allows the cable to be used with a BNC (coax or RCA cable) or VGA (computer monitor) connection. All you would need would be the cable itself plus a pair of baluns appropriate for the monitor you're using. You'll need a set of two because you'll need one for the DVR, and one for the monitor.

Just be sure to double check the specs on the baluns when you purchase them to make sure that it's rated for the distance you're traveling!
